Maida is a certified Physician Assistant who evaluates and treats patients along with Dr. Batish. (What is a Physicians Assistant?)

She is a member of the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

She grew up in Thomasville, NC and graduated from East Davidson High School in 1995. She then attended High Point University and received a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences, Summa Cum Laude, through a combined degree with Wake Forest University in 2000.

While in undergraduate training, she worked in the Emergency Department as an ER Technician. She attended Wake Forest University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program and graduated, with honors, in 2000.

She was previously employed in High Point, in Family Practice since March, 2001. She moved to Wilmington and began employment with Dr. Batish in June, 2005.

She enjoys swimming, surfing, kickboxing, and any outdoor activity. She evaluates and treats all patient complaints in primary care, but has a special interest in Women's Health, Adolescent Health, and Dermatologic Procedures.
